I am sad to say that  Loretta's Sewin' Room Closed in January.  We all miss her terribly. BUT>>> she is still quilting at her home. Actually it is closer to me now.  So you can still contact her at 931-261-0300 to bring your quilts to her for quilting.

All the gifts that were in the Mountain Laurel Craft room are now at my home next to my studio.  So you can call me and stop by to see what I have on hand. Or come by and place an order.

Loretta is having a Side Walk Sale on Saturday, July 27th, from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.  There will be 10 to 20 per cent off items in store only and 20% off all crafts in the Mountain Laurel Craft Room. You Are Invited to a JELLY ROLL RACE

 When: Saturday, March 23rd
 Where: Loretta's Sewin' Room
 Time: 10:30 am

 Come see 6 of our local quilters race to sew together 1600" of 2 1/2" strips. Yes they will sew all the strips from a jelly roll together to make a L O N G strip. Then by putting both ends together, continue to sew and at the end will have a lap size quilt top finished. Come cheer your favorite quilter on and enjoy the fun.

Refreshments will be served. Then after the race enjoy a cup of coffee and pastry, browse thru the shop and shop for some new fabric and maybe a jelly roll. You may even want to challenge the winner to another race.

 Stop in Mountain Laurel Crafts Room and see the spring Rabbits and Wall Hangings made by Joanna and Melissa.

Happy Valentines Day

The snow stopped us from having our beginning table runner class, so make up class is Friday Feb 8th 10 am.

Also the Valentine Sunbonnet Sue is ready for pickup. Attached is a picture of Sue and the table runner.
