My New Screen Room Furniture

Several years ago for my birthday, hubby screened in a portion of our back deck for me.  It has 2 entrances to the house. One from my bedroom and one from the great room and a screen door out to the rest of the deck. I had him put indoor outdoor carpeting and I can vacumn it when I want or hose it down.  So this year I finally found a cute outdoor whicker set that fits right in the corner of the room. I even put a side table and a lamp which you cant see, and there is a ceiling fan with lights. A few plants and a throw and I'm ready for my naps.

 

Around the corner is a small table and 2 chairs so I can eat lunch out there or do some of my crafting when weather permits.  Even my girls like being out there.

A Doe and Her Fawn

Mama has now started to bring her baby around for us to see. She was so nice to pose for my neighbors camera.  Now she is coming in my yard and in a distance in the woods you can sometimes see the fawn running up and down and skipping and jumping while mama feeds. So cute.

Not What You Want To See While In An RV

So here we are in a camp ground watching the news. OMG severe thunderstorms heading our way.  They are saying hail, lightening, and wind gusts up to 70MPH.  Crap.  So time goes by, little rain, no hail, but when the wind picked up it scared both of us.  So we wound up pulling in 2 of the slides.  Now mind you, in this camp ground right across from us is a large group with kids camping in tents.  What in the work do they plan to do???? They are out on a hay ride with no idea this storm is coming.  I thought for sure they would blow away. But the next morning there they were packing up their tents on to their next destination. Remarkable.......

 



Bargello Flag Wall Hanging Just Sold

I just sold this beautiful Bargello Flag Wall Hanging on FB yesterday.  It took all of 5 minutes after posting it.  This is a one of a kind. No more will be made. It is just too time consuming for me to make.  But it did turn out beautiful. I'm very proud of it. There is a sleeve on the back for hanging.

 

 



Tea Anyone?????

While traveling you know I love to shop at Quilt Shops, but I also like to walk around antique shops.  I thought about making some Tea Cozies with matching Coasters as gift ideas.  So I looked around for some small 2 cup tea pots and this is what I found.

 

Sure hope I have time to make the Cozies.

I'm Back

So we have been back a week now and things are starting to get back to normal around here.  Hubby is working on the RV and his shop, I clean, cook, and have been working on orders.

Here is an order from a very nice lady I met in Red Bay while doing the laundry.  She bought tooth fairy pillows from me and then ordered a custom table runner with matching placemats for her RV. Our tables are so small that normal placemats don't fit.  So I found out her colors and tried to match as best I could. They were mailed out to her Monday. These are similar to the set I made for my RV.  Didn't they come out cute.
