Disappearing 9 patch Table Runner Class

Class Fee is $35.00 which includes - pattern, instruction and all the fabric to make the top. Kits will be available at an extra fee, to finish your runner, they will include: border, backing, binding and batting.
UPDATE ON CLASS - This class was really fun. The girls came and were allowed to choose their own squares which they sewed, chopped, sewed and created their own runners and toppers. Take a look.

Yesterday was the Cardinal Table Runner Class. Actually the students learned how to machine applique 3 different ways. Satin Stitch, Blanket Stitch, Raw Edge. Now, some found out their machines were not capable of making a good satin stitch or didn't have the decorative stitches needed to use the blanket stitch. Oh boy, looks like someone is getting a new upgraded machine for Christmas. Wonder who?????????
I think everyone went away from this class with new information on machine applique and how to use the Teflon Pressing Sheet. They also got a lesson on what some of those other feet in their box of goodies that came with their machine are used for.
Now I want to see pictures when they are all finished.

DONE! I can wait for the quilting and binding. Great job done by everyone.

Wallet Class
This was a great class. Everyone did a great job and even though we had one late for class, she even caught up and got ahead. There are lots of sections to cut and number before assembling and everyone paid attention and kept all their pieces in order. Because of the large number of students we did go later than expected. At one point I thought we were going to spend the night. But all finished and went home tired but happy with another finished project. Great Job Everyone!

Cardinal Table Runner Class

This is a machine applique class. Instruction will be given on several ways to machine applique. Class will make samples, be given handouts, and receive the entire kit to make this table runner.
During Class I will demo and show the group an Eleanor Burns method of applique using fusible interfacing and beads to embellish.

The Credit Card and Tissue Cover Class was so much fun. Everyone was so surprised to see how fast and easy it was to make these two adorable items. Brought smiles to their faces.
Now you know there is always one cut up in every class and Melissa won the prize. We had to put her in the hallway several times for talking too much. Bad girl, bad girl......but all in fun....Bet I know what gift everyone in their family is getting for Christmas this year.
