Embroidered Wild Flowers

I have a collection of 12 Wild Flower designs that are embroidered on hand dyed batik fabric.  Each flower block measures approximately 9" x 12".  They are then put on a mat board ready for you to frame.  Or they can all be sewn together to make a lovely quilt.  Price - $18.00 each mat included.  I must admit, they are much prettier in person.

 I started my fall Table Runners to take to the Gardeners Fall Festival on September 28th. Wish I had more time to create more.  I would love to see them all over my house this year. Oh well, maybe next year.  ********************************************************************************

I am starting to make my Santa again for this year. He is a one of a kind, no 2 are alike.  He stands about 20" high.  He is weighted down with sand so he can sit on a shelf.  I stain his body with a coffee/cinnamon scented stain and bake him to give him a primitive look and he smells good.  His clothes are  primitive/country. He has button eyes and wool for his beard.  His hat is made from an

old sweater, and his shoes are real baby shoes or sneakers.  Each doll has different embellishments.  The 2 dolls shown here are already sold.  I am taking orders now and will stop soon if I get overwhelmed with orders or by October 25th.  So place your order now.  I can email you pictures of the clothes and shoes for you to choose from.

New items for this season.  Starting to show up in the Mountain Laurel Crafts Room at Loretta's.

A grunged snowman mounted on a rusty bed spring.  Embellished with a rusty bell, Christmas greenery, snow and a flannel scarf. He stands 10-12 inches tall.

Mounted on a vintage thread spool is this antiqued wood Ewe. I have also used the cinnamon scented stain to grunge the wool a little and embellished him Americana.  He stands approximately 10 inches tall depending on the spool used.

This is a very Primitive Crow that is mounted on another vintage thread spool.  He is

embellished with silk flowers, burlap, a rusty star and is tied with grunged cheese cloth. Embellishments and flowers vary and the height of the spool.  Height ranges from 10 to 12 inches tall.
