Working on a new project

As if I don't have anything else to do I was going thru the Quiltmaker Magazine Sept/Oct issue and saw this adorable applique candle skinnie. This design is by Margie Ullery. Visit her blog at ribboncandyquilts.blogspot.com.  Could this be a future class?  Hmmmmmm   maybe? Stay tune and I'll let you know.

I've started picking out fabrics and think I'll start cutting before lunch.

 

 

So what do you think of my color choices?  Time to sew them together.  This is such a quick and fun project.  May be making this as gifts this year.
